St Albans Model Railway Exhibition 2013
organised by the CMRA will be held on
Saturday & Sunday 12th & 13th January
at
The Alban Arena

There will be more than twenty good quality working model railway layouts with a well balanced
coverage of scales, gauges and prototypes. A wide selection of specialist and general trades will be present
together with demonstrations, static exhibits and society stands.
Open Saturday 10am to 6pm - Sunday 10am to 5pm

Admission Charge is £7.00 per Adult
A copy of our extensive colour programme
will be handed out FREE to all paying adults
Up to two children, aged under 16, will be admitted FREE with each paying adult
(Additional or unaccompanied children will be charged £3.00 admission)
The Arena is in the centre of the City and is adjacent to the shopping centre and Saturday market.
Roman Verulamium and St Albans Abbey are close by. The Arena is well served by car parks which are free on Sundays.
Trains to the Abbey station from Watford Junction on the Premier Line - London (Euston) and all points north.
Trains to the City station from Brighton, Gatwick and London (Kings Cross/St Pancras) connecting St Albans, Harpenden,
Luton, Bedford and the East Midlands.
We are pleased to announce that, on behalf of the CMRA, the 712 Preservation Group will be running a free
bus service between the railway stations and the venue over the duration of the exhibition opening hours. Click below for more info:
Exhibition Bus Service Information & timetable
The current intention is for the bus service to operate a circular route - St Peters St (Alban Arena), Abbey Station, City Station, St Peters St (Alban Arena).
Please note that the exhibition uses three floors of the venue with only one floor accessible
without using flights of steps. Free entrance for people with critically impaired mobility.
